I. OBJECTIVES: * By the end of this lesson, Ss will be able to gain the following items:

1. Knowledge:

+ To practice listening and writing.

- Listen for general and specific information to talk about changes in family life
- Write about the changes in one’s family.

+ Integrated skills: Listening, speaking, reading, writing.

* Vocabulary:

- To use the words related to changes in lifestyle;

- To pronounce the sounds /fl / and /fr/ correctly in words and sentences;

* New words: oil lamp; take note; simple, different, convenient, pursue, private, generation.

+ Make promises;

+ Talk about changes in one's learning style;

* Grammar:

+ To use to-infinitive and V-ing after a verb correctly;

2. Competence:

- Develop communication skills.

- Be co-operative and supportive in pair work and teamwork.

- Develop presentation skills.

Digital Competence (3.1.TC2a; 5.2.TC2b): Digital Data Organisation & Email Drafting. Students organise family-change notes in a digital table and use a teacher-approved tool to draft, revise and format an email about changes in their family.

Digital evidence/assessment: family-change table, revised email draft, peer/teacher feedback note, and clear use of past/present comparison vocabulary.

3. Personal qualities:

- Understand more about city problems and their solutions.

- Actively participate in class and school activities.

- Develop self-study skills.

Objectives For students with disabilities

By the end of the lesson, students can:

- listen and tick 2 facts about family life in the past or present, with teacher's help.

- identify 2 words from the listening task: family-oriented, elders, privacy, nuclear or extended.

- make 2 simple notes about changes in their family using a table.

- copy or complete a 3-4 sentence email from a model.

- read aloud 1 sentence from the email with teacher's help.
