I. OBJECTIVES: * By the end of this lesson, Ss will be able to gain the following:

1. Knowledge:

- To introduce the lexical items related to Environmental protection

- Pronunciation: Correctly pronounce words that contain the sounds: /bl/ and /kl/

+ Vocabulary:Vocabulary related to Environmental Protection

+ Grammar: Complex sentences with adverb clauses of time

2. Competence:

- Students will be able to practice listening and reading skills .

- Develop communication skills and creativity

- Be co-operative and supportive in pair work and teamwork.

- Actively join in class activities.

- Digital Competence:

Digital Competence (NLS 1.1.TC1a; 3.1.TC1a; 4.1.TC1a): Students use a teacher-approved online dictionary or voice-check tool to learn environmental vocabulary and practise the sounds /bl/ and /kl/ safely.

Digital product: A mini vocabulary-pronunciation checklist with 5 environmental words and 2 self-checked /bl/ or /kl/ words.

- Develop communication skills and creativity.

Digital safety: Students use school devices or teacher-guided tools only and do not upload personal voice recordings publicly.

3. Qualities:

- Raise the students’ awareness about environmental protection.

Objectives For students with disabilities

By the end of the lesson, students can:

- recognize and say 5 words or phrases: ecosystem, marine life, absorb, harmful substances, and extinction, with teacher's help.

- label at least 3 pictures with environmental protection phrases.

- match at least 3 words or phrases with their meanings.

- complete 3 simple sentences with words from the lesson.

- listen and repeat at least 3 words with /bl/ and 3 words with /kl/.

II. TEACHING AIDS:

- Teacher: Grade 8 textbook, Unit 7, A closer look 2, Computer connected to the Internet, Projector / TV

- Students: Text books, smartphones (if allowed) or Teacher's device for demonstration.

- Software: Google App (Voice Search) or Google Translate.
