I. OBJECTIVES: * By the end of this unit, students will be able to:

- Listening to someone making an announcement of art exhibition

- Writing a paragraph about modern ways of communication

1. Knowledge:

+ Vocabulary: Telepathy (n); Keep in contact (v); Thought (n); Tiny (a).

+ Language: Interrupting politely: Hold on; Sorry for interrupting, but…

+ Pronunciation: Stress in words ending in -ese and -ee

2. Competence:

a) General competencies:

- Develop communication skills and creativity.

- Be collaborative and supportive in pair work and teamwork.

- Actively join in class activities.

b) Specific competencies:

- Group work and independent working, pair work, linguistic competence, cooperative learning and communicative competence.

c) Digital Competence

1.1.TC2b: Information and data literacy: Students observe how to use AI (ChatGPT via the teacher's screen) to synthesize writing feedback and improve vocabulary.

3.1.TC2a: Digital Content Creation: Students interact with digital platforms (Hoclieu.vn) and observe the digitization of their handwriting via the teacher's smartphone projection.
