UNIT 8: FILMS

Lesson 5: Skills 1

I. OBJECTIVE: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to know

1. Knowledge:

- how to do survey on favourite actors/actress and films through listening and speaking practice. To teach some new words .

+ Vocabulary: Using the words related to films.

+ Language: use of that’s a great idea/ I’d love to,…; talking about accepting and declining suggestions.

2. Competence:

a) General competencies:

Students will be able to learn how to use some new words. Know how to use some action verbs go with Nouns to describe hobbies. Ss may add more nouns that can go with these action verbs.

- Develop communication skills and creativity.

- Be collaborative and supportive in pair work and teamwork.

- Actively join in class activities.

b) Specific competencies:

- Group work and independent working, pair work, linguistic competence, cooperative learning and communicative competence.

- Ability of using Present Simple Tense, some popular verbs of liking.

- Sts can introduce themselves or one another fluently.

c) Digital competences

NLS1 – 1.1.TC1a: Access and understand reading texts, vocabulary and visual information about films presented in digital format.

NLS1 – 2.2.TC1c): Share ideas and learning products (answers, spoken information) in pair and group work using simple digital support.

NLS1 – 3.1.TC1a: Present information about a film clearly and logically with the support of digital tables or images.

NLS1 – 1.1.TC1a; NLS1 – 3.1.TC1a: Evaluate peers’ spoken presentations and reading answers and give appropriate feedback.

3. Qualities: Love talking about their hobbies; having benefits of their hobbies in daily life. Develop self-study skills.

II. PREPARATIONS
