Phần 1. Lý thuyết ôn tập học kì 1 tiếng Anh lớp 9

I. Vocabulary

Focusing on unit 4,5,6

II. Grammar

- Phrasal verbs ( pass down, live on, deal with, close down, get on with, turn down, turn up, keep up with, look through, look forward to )

- reported speech ( câu trực tiếp gián tiếp )

- wish ( S + wish ( chia) + S + V ( chia quá khứ) : diễn tả một điều ước trái với thực tế)

- Thì quá khứ hoàn thành

* Cấu trúc tính từ:

1. Cấu trúc: làm việc gì đó thể nào

Eg:

It 's difficult to follow your directions. Theo chỉ dẫn của bạn thật khó

be adj to v

Following your directions is difficult ( To follow your directions is difficult)

It + be( chia) + adjective( tính từ) + to V( nguyên thể)……= V-ing….+ be( chia) + adj(tính từ)

= To + V + be(chia) + adj ( ít dùng hơn)

Eg: it is easy to learn English = Learning English is easy: Học tiếng Anh thật dễ/ Thật dễ khi học tiếng Anh

2. It + to be + adj + for sb + to + V.......

It is necessary for you to learn English. ( Cậu cần phải học tiếng Anh)

3. Cấu trúc : Nói ai đó thế nào khi làm gì

- S + be ( chia) + adj + to V…………

Eg: I am glad to see you: Tôi rất vui khi gặp bạn

4. Câu khen hoặc chê ai thế nào khi làm gì ( tính từ trong đây là những tính từ về tư chất con người: silly/kind/ clever/ stupid/ generous...)

It + to be + adj + of sb + to do sth

Eg:It is very kind of you to help me. ( Cậu thật tốt bụng khi giúp tôi)

It was very careless of him to leave the door open last night. ( Cậu ta thật cẩu thả khi để cửa mở tối qua)

5. Cấu trúc : Nói ai đó thế nào khi một việc gì xảy ra

- S + be( chia) + adj + that + S + v (chia)…………..

Eg: We are delighted that you passed the English exam last week: Chúng tôi vui mừng là tuần trước bạn đã thi đỗ

1. Thì quá khứ đơn:

a. Cấu trúc câu:

(+) S + V(ed/ cột 2) + O       Với động từ tobe: S + was/ were …………

Có hai cách hình thức động từ ở thì quá khứ đơn: có quy tắc và bất quy tắc

* Đối với động từ có quy tắc: ta thêm –ed vào sau động từ nguyên mẫu.

e.g. visit > visited; work > worked;  watch > watched

Đặc biệt: - Nếu động từ tận cùng bằng –e thì chỉ thêm –d: live -> lived, race > raced

- Nếu động từ tận cùng bằng một phụ âm + y hãy đổi y thành i và thêm ed: dry > dried

Nhưng : stay > stayed; enjoy > enoyed

- Nếu là động từ có một nguyên âm duy nhất + phụ âm, hãy gấp đôi phụ âm cuối rồi thêm ed:

shop > shopped; wrap > wrapped; plan > planned

- Nếu động từ có hai vần trở lên, tận cùng bằng một nguyên âm đơn + phụ âm, và có trọng âm

cuối cùng, thì hãy gấp đôi vần cuối cùng rồi hãy thêm ed:

e.g. occur > occurred ;  prefer > preferred; Nhưng : enter > entered

- Không gấp đôi những phụ âm cuối cùng như x, w, y: snow > snowed; fix > fixed

* Đối với động từ bất quy tắc: động từ quá khứ được chia ở cột 2 trong bảng động từ bất quy tắc

e.g. do > did ; give > gave; go > went

(-) S + did not (didn’t + V(bare-inf) Với tobe: S + was not (wasn’t)/ were not (weren’t) …

e.g. - You didn’t understand me.

e.g. - That was not a good story

(?) Did + S + V(bare-inf) Với to be: Was/ Were + S + ….

e.g. - Were you sick?

- What did you do at Christmas?

b. Cách dùng: Thì quá khứ đơn được dùng để chỉ:

- Hành động, sự kiện đã xảy ra tại một thời điểm xác định trong quá khứ.

e.g. Tom visited China last year

- Hành động sự kiện đã thực hiện trong một khoảng thời gian ở quá khứ, nhưng nay hoàn toàn chấm dứt

e.g. He lived in Hanoi from 1990 to 2000. (hiện nay anh ta không còn sống ở Hà Nội)

Từ đi kèm (dấu hiệu nhận biết): trạng từ chỉ thời gian: ago, last night/ week/ month…, yesterday….

c. Phát âm: 3 cách phát âm của những động từ có quy tắc ở dạng quá khứ đơn –ed:

- Nếu động từ tận cùng bằng các âm /t/ hoặc /d/, thì ed thêm vào được đọc là /id/.

need > needed want > wanted decide > decided

- Nếu những động từ tận cùng bằng các âm /f/, /k/, /p/, /s/, /∫/, /f∫/, / ks/, thì ed thêm vào được đọc là /t/.

wash > washed; book> booked; stop > stopped

watch > watched ; wash > washed ; fax > faxed; laugh > laughed

- Nếu những động từ tận cùng bằng các âm khác ngoài hai trường hợp trên, thì ed thêm vào đọc là /d/.

play > played ; plan > planed ; offer > offered

2. Thì quá khứ đơn dùng wish:

a. Thì quá khứ đơn với WISH: S + wish + S + V(ed/cột 2/ were)

-> Diễn tả mong ước ở hiện tại (mong ước không có thật hoặc trái với thực tế hiện tại).

e.g. - I wish I were a teacher.

- I wish I had a computer.

-I wish I didn’t have to do this job

b. Động từ COULD với WISH: S + wish + could + V(bare-inf).

e.g. - I wish I could swim. Tôi ước tôi biết bơi (thật sự bây giờ tôi không biết bơi)

- I wish you would stop smoking. Tôi ước bạn sẽ bỏ thuốc lá.

c. Lưu ý:- Chúng ta có thể thay wish bằng would rather.

e.g. I’d rather my vacation was longer (giá mà kỳ nghỉ của tôi được lâu hơn)

- Would là thì quá khứ đơn của will, would được sử dụng trong mệnh đề sau wish để diễn tả hành động tương lai mà bạn muốn nó xảy ra.

e.g. I wish my mother would come with me tonight. I don’t want to be home alone.
