I. OBJECTIVES:

By the end of the lesson, students are expected to achieve the following objectives:

1. Knowledge:

*Vocabulary:

- Understand the key words: floating market, night market, street food, delicious, pagoda, museum.

* Pronunciation:

- Pronounce the key words correctly: floating market, night market, street food, delicious, pagoda, museum.

* Grammar: Possessive adjectives and possessive pronouns

2. Competencies:

a) General competencies:

- Group work and independent working, pair work, linguistic competence, cooperative learning and communicative competence.

b) Specific competencies:

- Listen for general and specific information about a description of a city.

- Write a holiday postcard.

c) Digital competencies:

1.1 TC1b: Students can access several websites such as: the digital learning ecosystem: hoclieu.vn, loigiaihay.com, Vietjack.com… to find information on the topic and self-study.

6.2 TC1a: Students can use Chatgpt and Gemini to find explanations on any issue related to the topic effectively.

5.3 TC1a: Students can use Canva to create flashcards and posters on the topic; Use Napkin to create mind maps of the grammar related to the topic.

3. Qualities:

- Positive about cities and landmarks all over the world..

- Students know the importance of widen their knowledge about the outder world.

- Ss have the good attitude to working in groups, individual work, and pairwork, cooperative learning and working.
