Review 3: Skills

I. OBJECTIVES:

By the end of the lesson, students are expected to achieve the following objectives:

1. Knowledge:

*Vocabulary:

- Ss revise words and phrases in unit 7-8-9

* Pronunciation:

- Review the pronunciation of new words in Unit 7-8-9

* Grammar:

- wh-questions, conjunctions, possessive adjectives, possessive pronouns, the past simple and imperatives.

2. Competencies:

a. General competencies:

- Improve group work and independent working, pair work, linguistic competence, cooperative learning and communicative competence.

b. Specific competencies:

- Students will be able to revise the language they have learnt and the skills they have practised in Units 7-8-9 in terms of language and skills . Practise doing exercises.

- Write an email to a friend telling about a hodiday.

c. Digital Competence

NLS 2.1.a: Students can interact on the teacher’s laptop to complete assignments in each task in a responsible and purposeful way.

NLS 2.1.a; 2.2.a: Students can follow and engage with lesson content presented through the hoclieu.vn App projected by the teacher.

NLS 1.2.a: Students can observe, listen to, and understand information displayed via projector, audio, and hoclieu.vn.

NLS 1.2.b: Students can explain their answers based on digital materials shown on hoclieu.vn images, text, and audio.

NLS 1.3.a; 1.3.b: Students can record and organise their answers while referring to digital content on hoclieu.vn.

NLS 2.4.a: Students can work in pairs or groups while using digital materials shown on the teacher’s laptop and projector.

NLS 5.3.a; 5.4.a: Students can compare their answers with those displayed on hoclieu.vn and reflect on their learning strategies.

3. Qualities:

- To teach Ss good behaviour toward friends

- The awareness about importance of friendship in life.

- Ss have the good attitude to working in groups, individual work, and pairwork, cooperative learning and working.

- Improve good personalities: Hard- working ; cooperative; sociable; good communication.
